Itonis Sign License Agreement With MyECheck

Itonis, Inc. today announced that it has signed a Licensing Agreement with MyECheck, Inc. for Itonis to acquire a software license for MyECheck’s patented mobile payment app that will facilitate point of purchase transactions for medical marijuana, gambling, and general retail sales. There is no expiration date on that license. The license agreement calls for Itonis to pay a one-time licensing fee to MyECheck as well as a portion of the per-transaction fees collected at the point of sale.

Swiff Launces Mobile Payment for McDonald’s

Swiff launched a new mobile payment service with AEON Thana Sinsap (Thailand) Public Company Ltd. and McDonald’s for McDelivery 1711. With this new mobile Point of Sale (mPOS) solution, McDelivery 1711 allows their customers to pay by credit card using mobile devices from wherever they make their orders. This is the first time in Thailand for a global quick service restaurant chain to use mPOS when they deliver the orders to customers’ doorstep.

KitKat Now Supported By NBS Xpressi

NBS Technologies announced that the host card emulation (HCE) feature of Android KitKat is now fully supported by the NBS Xpressi Trusted Service Manager (TSM). iPayment Reports 4Q/13 & FY/14 Financial Results

iPayment announced their financial results for the three months and twelve months ended December 31, 2013. For 4Q/13, the Company processed $5.3 billion of total transaction volume, an increase of 1.0% from the same period of 2012. In the fourth quarter, the Company processed 82.9 million transactions, an increase of 2.0% from the fourth quarter 2012. Total revenues increased by 0.2% to $169.2 million for the fourth quarter of 2013 from $168.9 million for the fourth quarter of 2012.

Orange Business Services Inks SIA mPOS Payment Agreement

SIA and Orange Business Services have signed a collaboration agreement that will enable European and extra-EU banks and merchants to manage payments via mobile point of sale (POS) terminals. Orange Business Services will provide a managed M2M solution with global roaming services enabling remote terminals to automatically transmit data to the SIA technology infrastructure. The agreement will allow SIA to take a significant step forward in the creation of a single operating network at the European level which will collect payments traffic generated by wireless POS terminals and other channels of merchants and then deliver it securely and reliably to the authorization systems of banks, terminal operators and other acquirers. SIA has enabled almost 5,000 mobile POS terminals and plans to reach around 60,000 terminals by the end of the year. These devices can manage transactions coming mainly from European countries (including France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxemburg, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, and United Kingdom) and extra-EU countries, such as South Africa.
