ProPay, a TSYS company, will provide nonprofits and organizations using Little Green Light LLC (LGL) online donation solutions with simple, secure and complete end-to-end payment processing services. So far in 2013, there has been a 21-percent increase in online donations in the U.S.*, and the trend is expected to continue in 2014. This growth will dynamically impact the need for processing and administration solutions in the donations space. VeriFone to Enhance Payment Operations for French Outfit

VeriFone Systems has been awarded a comprehensive managed payment services contract by Réseau Clubs Bouygues Telecom, the consumer retail affiliate of Bouygues Telecom, one of France’s largest fixed-mobile operators. VeriFone will provide its managed services software”PAYware Wynid”as well as helpdesk support, gateway services and VX 820 advanced PIN acceptance devices that support all types of electronic transactions. VeriFone’s VX 820 PIN pads will help Réseau Clubs Bouygues Telecom engage customers and drive revenues by delivering targeted promotional and branding messages to customers during checkout through the devices’ color touch screen. PAYware Wynid will consolidate and route all electronic payments made at each of Réseau Clubs Bouygues Telecom’s 400 retail stores through a single gateway that utilizes VeriFone’s encryption and tokenization services and is hosted in a PCI DSS validated hosting center.

Picture Pay Sees Strong Debut Year

Picture Pay mobile photo bill payment app has seen 17 percent month over month increase in active end-users and 13 percent monthly growth in the number of items processed since its launch in November 2012. The product’s creators Mitek, Allied Payment Network and Malauzai Software Inc. also reported that 5 percent of active mobile banking users employed the feature in the first 90 days after its launch. That is above the usage figure of 3.5 percent for standard bill pay on the mobile device. Picture Pay allows users to complete a payment by taking a photo of the bill statement, confirm the amount to be paid and submit the payment to the financial institution.

First Data Certifies NCR Interactive ATM Solution

NCR announced First Data certified NCR APTRA Interactive Teller for its network allowing First Data FI ATM clients to use the solution for standard ATM transaction processing. APTRA Interactive Teller gives a live teller remote control of an ATM to conduct two way audio/video transactions with customers. The efficiency and security created through the centralization of tellers enables financial institutions to transform their branch locations into more effective service and sales environments. APTRA Interactive Teller lets financial institutions offer access to teller services during non-traditional banking hours, build new small-footprint branches, and provide full teller services in areas not served by branches, all while taking advantage of the advanced features of NCR ATMs such as deposit automation, bill pay and new account and loan initiation.

Datacard integrates Barnes Smartcard Verification

Datacard Group and Barnes International Chip Card Test Tools and Magnetic Stripe Analysers integrated the Barnes smart card verification technology into the Datacard MX Series Quality Assurance (QA) module. The Datacard QA module systematically verifies both optical and electronic elements of each card that passes through the MX Series Platform to confirm accurate card personalization. Fibernet Completes Yearly PCI DSS and SOC 1 Type II Certification

Fibernet Internet Service Provider passed PCI and SOC 1 Type II Certification security standards. It also received SSAE16 SOC 1 Type II certification. The attestation awarded to Fibernet by Cadence Assurance. All data centers must complete the certification requirements of PCI security. Regulations involve the human resources training programs, restriction of personnel who have physical access to the data center, and protection against environmental hazards. Fibernet Corp. has completed SOC 1 Type II certification, which requires demonstrable compliance to the standards for an entire year; Type I certification only requires compliance at the time at the time of attestation. Fibernet Corp is one of the first businesses to become an approved service provider by the credit card industry.
