Fico analytics and decision management technology has hired Nicola Pearce to lead the company’s initiatives around capital management and banking regulations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Pearce is a senior risk professional with more than 10 years of risk management consulting experience with major financial services providers and consulting firms. MasterCard Strngthens Effort to Boost US EMV Migration

MasterCard has proposed the formation of a cross-industry group designed to promote collaboration and alignment between networks, issuers, merchants, manufacturers and other groups in the implementation of EMV technology in the United States. The group would focus on providing guidance on non-proprietary technical issues, standardizing the consumer experience, and creating a set of common terms, descriptions and guidelines for EMV-enabled devices and terminals.MasterCard emphasized the need for industry alignment regarding the implementation of EMV standards, as well as introducing the need for securing all channels including the ATM.
