Neoteris, the leading provider of instant virtual extranet products, announced that the industry’s leading strong authentication vendors have joined the Neoteris Technology Partner Program, ensuring interoperability with enterprise customers’ existing authentication infrastructure.
ActivCard, RSA Security, Secure Computing Corporation, and VeriSign, Inc., comprise the industry’s leading authentication vendors, and have joined the Neoteris Technology Partner Program. The program, announced today in a separate press release, joins today’s best-of-breed enterprise application, security and networking technology providers with Neoteris’ award-winning, cost-effective secure access products.
Neoteris provides secure anywhere, anytime access to network resources via a standard Web browser, which delivers significantly greater access for remote employees and partners. While broad-based Internet access is appealing, it requires strong forms of authentication to ensure access is controlled. Static user names and passwords are not typically sufficient because they are easily copied or hacked. The Internet security industry has well-established strong authentication technologies such as public key infrastructure (PKI) and tokens with dynamic passwords. Strong authentication is a key feature supported by the Neoteris IVE platform, including tested interoperability with industry standards and protocols from leading authentication vendors.
Neoteris’ IVE products allow customers to cost-effectively provision instant, secure access to network resources and applications. Neoteris’ products reduce the cost, complexity and security risks associated with traditional access technologies such as VPNs and custom extranets. The IVE requires neither client-side software deployments nor changes to existing LAN infrastructure, greatly reducing deployment time to a matter of hours.
“We are pleased to have such an elite group of authentication providers as charter members of the Neoteris Technology Partner Program,” said Jason Matlof, Neoteris vice president of Marketing and Business Development. “Our IVE is the leader at providing anytime, anywhere secure access to network resources over the Internet, and authentication is a key concern for customers. We are pleased to respond to our customers’ requirements by providing proven interoperability with the leading authentication vendors.”
