Wells Fargo & Company announced that its small business customers will now have access to QuickBooks Financial Software. This will eliminate the hassle of downloading information from a banking session by directly reconciling accounts and transactions into QuickBooks. Small business customers can do more than bank and pay bills online with QuickBooks, as it allows customers to accept credit card payments, manage payroll and organize financial data without needing to manually enter information from banking sessions.
“Small business customers will save time and money with the service by eliminating possible double-entry; it remembers the last download date and sets it for business owners when they directly reconcile accounts and transactions in QuickBooks,” said Mark Baumli, senior vice president, Wells Fargo Business Internet Services. “Wells Fargo is the only major bank to offer QuickBooks nationwide.”
Using online banking and Bill Pay through QuickBooks allows small business customers to do the following:
— Automatically categorize transactions to accounts previously set up.
— Automatically create an accounting double-entry, eliminating the need to go into the software and code manually.
— Eliminate possible double entry by remembering the last download date and setting this for small business owners when they directly reconcile accounts and transactions in QuickBooks.
— The new QuickBooks functionality, powered by Wells Fargo Merchant Services, builds on Wells Fargo’s existing, highly successful relationship with Intuit.
