Wausau Financial Systems and Infonox announce a joint partnership to provide an ATM deposit solution for community banks.
This solution allows image-enabled ATMs to use Infonox’s Active Payment PlatformTM with WFS’ Optima3î Image platform to create an end-to-end deposit automation solution. Customers can now make deposits without envelopes and verify deposit of checks and currency visually on the display screen with check images and currency summary totals. This solution will be demonstrated at BAI’s Retail Delivery 2002 in Atlanta next week, November 5 to 7 at both WFS’ booth #1501 and Infonox’s booth #2220. By implementing this solution, banks can reduce fraud, minimize check-handling expenses, accelerate the collection of funds and prepare for the Check Clearing for the 21st Century Act. Bringing these transactions to the ATM also reduces teller line workload and offers processing cost savings. “We are extremely excited about this relationship,” said Dave LeBeau, Vice President of Marketing at WFS. “The integration of ATM deposit automation into WFS’ Optima® image platform adds transaction capabilities that are ideal for community financial institutions. This relationship further endorses WFS’ vision to deliver truly comprehensive information capture solutions covering all aspects of financial processing.”
Infonox’s Active Payment PlatformTM will also allow WFS’ customers to offer additional advanced functionality at the ATM. These applications include transaction services such as check cashing, money orders, and wire transfers as well as support technologies and services such as in-depth network monitoring. “Infonox values WFS’ market leadership and through this partnership we will be delivering deposit automation at the ATM which will help banks save money and increase efficiency,” says Safwan Shah, President of Infonox.
