Chase and Vivendi UNIVERSAL Entertainment announced the launch of the Universal Entertainment MasterCard from Chase, an exclusive co-branded credit card that offers consumers an innovative way to obtain world-class rewards for making everyday purchases. Cardmembers will enjoy a broad array of entertainment rewards linked to Universal’s movies, television, music, theme parks and interactive games.
Chase and Universal also announced a multi-year alliance making Chase the Official Bank for all of the Universal branded theme parks in the United States. This marketing alliance will also provide for bank-wide promotions throughout Chase’s branch network and in locations across the country. Financial terms of the agreements were not disclosed.

With the new Universal Entertainment MasterCard from Chase, cardmembers earn one point per dollar on all everyday purchases and two points per dollar spent at select Universal Parks & Resorts retail locations. Points can be redeemed for easily attainable rewards such as movie and concert tickets, DVDs, CDs, advance movie screenings, and more. In addition, cardmembers will have the opportunity to redeem reward points for unique Hollywood experiences, including tickets to celebrity events, spending a day on a television or movie set, backstage concert passes, and walking the red carpet at a movie premiere.
In addition to the rewards program and world-class benefits characteristic of Chase MasterCard products, cardmembers of the Universal Entertainment MasterCard from Chase will enjoy automatic entertainment-related entitlements, including:
