Gold Bank, one of the nation’s premier banking and financials services organizations, has joined PULSE EFT Association, strengthening the network’s presence in the Midwest. The addition of 45 Gold Bank locations and 50 ATMs throughout Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma exemplifies the dramatic emergence of PULSE as one of the fastest growing electronic funds transfer networks in the country.
“Gold Bank is committed to delivering banking products and services that our customers want,” said Terry Boren, Senior Vice President, Card Services Division. “Our community banking style enables us to know and serve our customers better. The value and convenience PULSE allows us to offer will help us build productive, long-term relationships.”
Boren said that through the PULSE PAY(R) online debit service, Gold Bank customers can now use their debit cards to make purchases and get cash back across the country.
“We are pleased to be working with PULSE to offer even more convenience for our 30,000 cardholders and to stimulate growth in our four-state target market area,” he said.
Gold Bank of Kansas is Gold Banc Corporation’s (Nasdaq: GLDB) flagship institution, and is the fourth largest bank domiciled in that state. It has 27 locations strategically positioned throughout Kansas and in Missouri. Gold Bank of Oklahoma features locations in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, as well as 14 other communities.
PULSE Executive Vice President Cindy Ballard said the addition of Gold Bank marks a new milestone for the network.
“We are proud of the confidence Gold Bank has placed in PULSE to serve their customers while growing our business in strategic new markets in the Midwest,” she said. “Just as Gold Bank’s commitment to innovative technology has helped position it as one of the nation’s leading community banks, PULSE’s focus on meeting the needs of its members has established it as the leading financial industry-owned and controlled network in the country.”
