Rewards Network Inc., one of the nation’s leading providers of credit card-based loyalty and rewards programs, announced the promotion of Bryan Adel to senior vice president. Adel joined the company in 2003 as general counsel. He will continue to serve in that capacity, overseeing governance and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance while playing an integral role in shaping Rewards Network(SM)’s long-term growth strategy.
Adel brings to Rewards Network the benefit of more than 15 years’ experience in corporate law and SEC compliance. He began his legal career in the Corporate Department of McDermott, Will & Emery. He went on to join the Legal Department of McDonald’s Corporation, where his areas of specialization included corporate finance and securities, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, joint ventures, marketing, e-commerce, franchise, privacy and international law.
In announcing the promotion, President and Chief Executive Officer George S. Wiedemann noted, “This is a very exciting time for Rewards Network. We’ve implemented an aggressive plan of expansion, both geographically and along multiple vertical lines of business. Bryan Adel holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He has served as a member of the board of directors of Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. and served as secretary of eMac Digital Corporation.
