Visa announced it will create a new television commercial that will debut during the 2005 Super Bowl on Sunday, February 6. The new ad will focus on the security protections of the Visa check card.
“Last year, 108 million households tuned in to the Super Bowl, making it one of the most-watched TV events of 2004,” said Susanne Lyons, chief marketing officer, Visa USA. “The Super Bowl consistently provides an opportunity to reach a large number of consumers in an entertaining way, reminding them that their Visa check card affords them security protections far greater than cash or checks.”
The television spot was created by BBDO NY and will run nationally on network and cable television through summer 2005.
