PT Bank International Indonesia (BII) develops ATM network by connecting
ATM BERSAMA network, an ATM network provided by PT Artajasa
Pembayaran Elektronis (Artajasa). It was marked by the signing of the
agreement between BII President Director Henry Ho and Artajasa
President Director, Arya Damar today.
Through this partnership, BII will be connected with around 11,200 ATMs
from 67 banks that already joined in ATM BERSAMA network. BII itself has
more than 700 ATMs and also linked to ALTO’s network ATMs and
Singapore’s DBS/POSB Bank ATMs.
“The broadening of ATM network is part of our effort to improve BII
customer services as well as to other banks’ customers who would like to
utilize our ATM network,” said President Director of BII Henry Ho. “This
is also in line with our effort to increase fee base income this year,”
he added.
According to BII Director of Consumer Banking, Rudy N. Hamdani, under
BII and Artajasa partnership, BII will act as an Issuer, an Acquirer as
well as a Beneficiary. As an Issuer, BII’s customers can check balance,
withdraw cash and tranfer funds through ATM BERSAMA member banks’ ATMs.
Meanwhile, as an Acquirer, customers of ATM BERSAMA member banks are
also able to check balance, withdraw cash and transfer funds through
BII’s ATMs. Lastly, as a Beneficiary , BII can accept funds or act as a
receiving bank.
“The entrance of BII into ATM Bersama networks is an important moment
for us. This step is part of efforts to achieve national efficiency as
it continues to develop our shared service,” added Arya Damar, President
Director of Artajasa.
All BII debit cards including Regular, Gold, Platinum and Musafir cards
can be used for banking transaction through ATM BERSAMA with many
benefits, including: choosing authorization using PIN or signature,
having transaction at merchants under Mastercard Electronic/Maestro
logo, getting discount at thousand merchants in Indonesia, billing
payment transaction etc.
This new feature is expected to increase BII’s service especially the
easiness to do the interbank online transfer for BII’s customer as well
as customers of other banks’ under ATM BERSAMA networks.
ATM Boutique at Senayan City To reach customers in Senayan area, BII
opens BII?s ATM Boutique at Senayan City business center. BII’s Senayan
City ATM Boutique not only provides three ATM machines but is also
equipped with one Cash Deposit Machine (CDM) and one Self Service
Printer Pasbook unit.
“The availability of electronic banking facilities at Senayan City
enables customers to do ‘one stop banking’ transaction. Besides
customers go shopping, they can also do banking transactions such as
cash withdrawal, cash deposit, payment transaction and print transaction
on a passbook,” said Rudy N. Hamdani.

enables customers of ATM Bersama member who are also Telkomsel customers
doing banking transactions such as check balance as well as inter bank
transfer from and to 67 ATM Bersama member banks immediately, easily and
conveniently. In the future, this service can be benefited for cash
withdrawal and goods purchasing at appointed merchants, phone and credit
card bill payment until leasing payment. Not only with Telkomsel,
Artajasa is also setting partnership with other operators for this
service in order to providing more services to customers of ATM Bersama
member.
