Keycorp Limited, a global supplier
of secure electronic transactions, announced the sale of its 35
millionth EMV smartcard chip. EMV is a set of standards developed by
Europay, MasterCard and Visa defining interoperability between
smartcards and smartcard readers.
Additionally, Keycorp has renewed its global Alliance Agreement with
MasterCard Worldwide to guarantee attractive module and card prices to
all MasterCard customers. This agreement will run until October 2009.

the award-winning Kaohsiung City Government contactless EMV transit card
in Taiwan.
