Norway’s largest financial
services group, DnB NOR Bank ASA, has chosen TSYS Card Tech’s PRIME card
and merchant management system to manage the fast-growing cards
portfolio of its market-leading credit-card operator, DnB NOR Kort.
DnB NOR Kort has plans to further expand its service solutions for DnB
NOR Kort customers. With support from TSYS Card Tech, DnB NOR Kort are
able to implement SEPA-compliant technology with the flexibility needed
to deliver cost-effective and leading-edge customer services.
With proven scalability for more than 10 million cards, PRIME 3.0 uses
Oracle’s Real-Time Application Clustering (RAC) to achieve secure,
high-volume transaction processing. It will enable DnB NOR Kort to
consolidate its issuance and management of different types of credit and
payment cards, including prepaid, private-label and loyalty cards, on a
single platform. In addition, PRIME provides support for handling
multiple issuers and acquirers on the same installation, support for
multiple languages and currencies, and fully EMV-compliant issuing and
acquiring for Visa, MasterCard and American Express requirements.
