software,* has announced that Gerard Compain, has been named

leading various International payment companies such as Bull’s Payments
Division (1989 -1995) and Ingenico (1995 -2005). In 2006 he founded
Cadege, a consulting company specialized in management and investment in
the secure transaction processing value chain. Gerard received a degree
from the Sloan School of Management of the Massachusetts Institute of

French Visa Group member) (1990 âà1999) where he was in charge of the

Now that the development of the offer is complete and the first large
French clients (Experian, Caisse National des Caisses d’Epargne and
Total) are in production, JWARE is
undertaking the second phase of its expansion. The hallmarks of which
will be a more aggressive customer service approach and focus on 3
promising market segments.
– In Europe, SEPA (Single European Payment Area) will re-draw the
current European card processing field (TPPs, NSPs, payment factories
and also new payment service providers as outlined by the European
Commission). This process brings enormous opportunity to suppliers like
JWARE, who can offer proven solutions that are agile and provide good ROI.
– In emerging countries banks are aggressively deploying card offers.
These countries are deploying innovative solutions that JWARE is already
in the process of promoting in the Middle East, Africa, India and
Central America via its partnership network.
– Contactless payments will be the next revolution based on NFC chips
embedded in mobile phones. This revolution is already underway in Japan
and Korea and JWARE is currently in the evaluation stage with a large
operator in Korea.
“Globalization and the development of card payments are intimately
linked. In a world where the Internet is predominant, transactional
servers become “strategic nodes” between banks, merchants and service
providers. Clients must frequently change their IT relationships to
reflect changing business. JWARE’s technology and architecture are quite
simply better adapted to the needs of this market” said Gerard Compain.
“From the first time that I became involved in JWARE, I was struck by
the expertise of the technical team, able to create a solution that
answered market needs thanks to a flexible architecture that is
commercialized at a fair priceâæ JWARE is well placed to become the
leader in all three markets that we are targeting and the current
challenge is to accelerate our development in a focused way.”
The JWARE Secure Payment Suite is an ideal solution for Third Party
Processors who want to speed-up their time to market, bring new
functionalities to banks, merchants and card associations and benefit
from greater flexibility and scalability. The entire JWARE product line
has been validated as SOA Enabled by IBM, making JWARE the only card
payment software provider to have achieved this status. The JWARE
Payment Suite is already in production in several client sites in EMEA.
*About JWARE Technologies*
JWARE Technologies develops international payment and secure transaction
processing software for banks, Third Party Processors, retailers,
transport, healthcare, e-government, Telco, Oilco, and other industries
that require secure transaction capabilities. In addition to our core
payment suite of front-end applications (switch, authorization, POSâæ)
JWARE also offers a complete range of development and self-help studios
that let our clients and partners master their own solution. All suites
and studios come with up-to-date on-line documentation and the software
is standards-based, multilingual, multi-currency, multi-protocol,
multi-institution and EMV compliant.
JWARE’s ubiquity is the result of its unique approach to transaction
processing. The JWARE platform manages all information flows including
new channels such as mobile, regardless of their content. The business
intelligence is provided at a separate layer as is the database
connectivity. All software is developed in Java, (J2EE) thus JWARE
reduces TCO by using widely available skill-sets, hardware and software
and by reducing project and maintenance times. JWARE is headquartered in
France and is distributed throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
