Commerce Bank, N.A., has promoted Jeff Burik to Executive Vice President, Retail Lending and Payment Systems. It was announced by Ken Ragan, Executive Vice President, Director of Retail Lending and Payment Systems. He has been employed by the bank since 1998 and has 25 years of industry experience.
Burik is responsible for managing Commerce Bank’s commercial bank card products division to include strategy development and general management of the merchant acquiring business, commercial credit card, and purchasing card portfolios. During Burik’s employment with Commerce, the bank’s purchasing card portfolio has risen to a ranking of 10th in the nation and the merchant portfolio to 33rd .
He is a member of Visa’s Executive Acquirers Council, the National Association of Purchasing Card Professionals, the Association for Financial Professionals, and the Electronic Transaction Association.
A graduate of Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas, Burik received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
