Clear2Pay eVoucher Introduced to Belgian Market

Clear2Pay next generation payment solutions for financial institutions and Edenred (previously Accor Services) prepaid service vouchers have collaborated to the launch a card-based luncheon voucher to the Belgian market. Designed to replace paper-based employee benefit program, the Card will be used for the payment of food expenses at retail stores and restaurants and will be issued by Edenred on behalf of its enterprise customers and technically supported by Clear2Pay with Integri test tools. Edenred and Clear2Pay have been working on this new means of payment offering several advantages over the paper-based luncheon vouchers, including the ecological benefits, reduced administrative work and faster payments, all the while providing consumers improved convenience and security.

GE Capital Launches Dick’s Credit Card Program

GE Capital Retail Consumer Finance has forged a 7-year deal to provide consumer credit card programs for Dickâs Sporting Goods throughout their over 400 US stores. The credit card program includes the private label credit card and the co-branded Dickâs MasterCard program, providing cardholders with security and convenience, as well as special financing promotions on larger purchase exercise equipment and sporting systems. The credit card program also offers $0 fraud liability and the opportunity to earn Scorecard points faster when using the credit card, earning rewards sooner. GE Capital Retail Consumer Finance has more than $30 billion in assets and over 40 million account holders.

VeriFone Enhances End-to-End Encryption With Acquisition

VeriFone has acquired Semtek encryption, allowing it to integrate the development, sales, implementation and support of end-to-end encryption solutions into the existing VeriFone organization to better fulfill customer needs, increase revenue and enhance support. VeriFone is offering royalty-free software licenses to device manufacturers and payment processors to further spur market adoption and better deliver encryption. VeriFoneâs initial investment in Semtek was announced in October 2007 and in April 2008 introduced “VeriShield Protect” end-to-end encryption for payments, which incorporated Semtek technology. VeriShield Protect has since been implemented across VeriFoneâs product line, encrypting card holder information at the exact instant of acceptance, inside a secure, trusted device, and keeps that data encrypted throughout an enterprise, to ensure protection of information even in the event of a security breach.

Direct Deposit Promotes Saving

accounts; 5% deposit money into three or more accounts; and 69% find the ability to split their pay over multiple accounts somewhat motivating in choosing

Verifone Supports RFinity Merchant Acceptance

RFinity has introduced its POS capability to support its mobile payment and traditional credit card transactions on the VeriFone “PAYware Connect Gateway” and the VeriFone “VX” line of payment solutions. VeriFone will certify the RFinity application for use on the “VX” platform, which has successfully concluded a pilot program using the VeriFone “MX 800 Series” at Brigham Young University-Idaho (BYU-I), where students and employees continue to use the technology for purchases and has expanded to include residents, local merchants and a community bank as well. RFinity technology attaches a one-time-use encrypted code to each transaction, activated by consumers tapping their phone and entering a personal authorization code, which is protected and the RFinity technology may be deactivated remotely in the event of theft or loss.

FreedomPay Enhances Card Data Security Offering

FreedomPay has formally released its “Encrypted Magnetic Stripe Reader” (eMSR) and “CardSafe” products to help retailers fight credit card hackers and data thieves. The “eMSR” solution is a secure set of hardware and services that encrypts cardholder information at the POS, allowing no visable data through components, networks nor interfaces required to settle a credit card transaction. Meanwhile, “CardSafe” tokenization of cardholder information enables the secure storage of credit card information for enterprises that have members, subscribers, and repeat customers to support âaccount on fileâ storage of cardholder data for easy retrieval.

FNDS3000 Prepaid Load Volume Up 140% Q/Q

To pay their ‘Phillynet’ bill, a customer must first fund a XIPWIRE account by connecting it to a bank account, credit or debit card. Then text âxip phillynet â to 56624. A text of âxip phillynet 100,â for example, would result in an instant $100 payment to Phillynet. XIPWIRE universal mobile payment service allows users to securely send and receive money using a simple text message.
