American Express Global Business Travel has made traveler information
enhancements to its “Pre-Trip Auditor” (PTA) compliance tool. Allowing
companies to automatically send notifications to travelers when they’ve
booked out of policy and having itineraries sent to a traveler’s manager
for approval, “PTA” will now also send trip notifications related to
visa/passport information for international travel, company incentives
or programs, industry advisories on high-risk destinations,
recommendations for virtual meeting options, and how to utilize
enterprise mobile applications while on trip. AmEx’ “PTA” ultimately
allows companies to control costs and keep an eye on the bottom line.

has exceptional depth in its audit capabilities, giving reporting

NCR Corporation is installing its “BLOCKBUSTER Express”-branded movie kiosks in 309 RaceTrac convenience stores located in five states throughout the Southeas. Nearly 200 kiosks already are installed, with remaining kiosks to be completed by June 2011, allowing RaceTrac customers to rent new movies 24 hours a day from BLOCKBUSTER Express kiosks. Using their credit or debit card, customers have access to the widest selection of popular movies available starting at only $1 per night, per rental. The NFC Forum non-profit industry association that advances the use of NFC technology, announced Google is joining the organization as a Principal member. CSR and Intel, formerly Associate Members, have raised their membership status to the Principal level. Since its founding in 2004, the NFC Forum has drawn market-leading organizations from around the world to its membership roster as momentum builds for the adoption and implementation of Near Field Communication technology. Principal membership is the second-highest level of membership in the NFC Forum. Each Principal member is subsequently entitled to appoint a voting representative to each of the Technical, Marketing, and Compliance Committees and Working Groups.
Chase announced an additional two-year, $25-million commitment to the ” Chase Community Giving” philanthropic program on Facebook, having already awarded $10 million to 300 small and local charities in 38 states, and Washington, D.C., since 2009. “Chase Community Giving” has attracted more than 2.4 million fans that determined the winners from more than 500,000 participating charities nationwide. Chase is currently preparing for its Spring 2011 program, which will begin online Monday, April 4, and will focus on local charities with annual operating expenses from $1 million to $10 million. Plans are also underway for another program later this year geared toward smaller, more local charities. The “Chase Community Giving” program is hosting a forum at 12:30 p.m. EDT that will be broadcast live on Facebook.

Bank of America Corporation announced William P. Boardman would not seek another term as director at its annual meeting of shareholders in May. Boardman was chairman of Visa International from 1996 until his retirement in 2005 and also formerly served as a director of both that company and Visa USA Inc. He was an executive at Bank One Corporation from 1984 through 2001, serving at various times as chairman and chief executive officer of its credit card subsidiary First USA and as vice chairman and director of Bank One. Previously, he practiced law in Columbus.
J.P. Morgan has introduced new functionality to its Order-to-Pay solution to help suppliers more easily connect to its growing network of more than 100,000 buyers and suppliers. J.P. Morgan said that its global Order-to-Pay e-invoicing and payment processing (EIPP) network grew nearly thirty percent in the past year, indicating that businesses are increasingly seeing the value in automating accounts payable processes. J.P. Morgan’s Order-to-Pay solution offers suppliers a variety of options to choose from for receiving purchase orders and sending invoices, with payment options such as ACH, paper check, card and wire. The dedicated supplier portal enables users to easily track the latest status of invoices and payments at any time. Order-to-Pay not only provides visibility into payment status, but enables suppliers to choose how and when they get paid.
