FIS, the world’s largest provider of banking and payments technology, announced that it is the recipient of four prestigious industry awards recognizing the excellence of its Business eBanking, TouchPoint® channel solutions and ePayment solutions.
“As an industry-leading technology provider, we continually strive to present the best-in-breed solutions that provide our clients the tools they need to succeed”
FIS’ Business eBanking has been awarded the Celent XCelent Depth of Service Award in the 2010 Celent report – intended for community banks and credit unions reviewing small business, online banking solutions. Thirteen solutions, representing 11 different vendors, were evaluated for the award. A first-time recipient of the award, FIS’ Business eBanking provides cash management functionality for businesses of all sizes, including micro businesses, through large corporations and currently supports more than 250 financial institution clients.
“FIS receives an XCelent Award in Depth of Service for their Business eBanking solution,” said Jacob Jegher, senior analyst, Celent. “Clients found FIS to be responsive to their needs and felt they had good input into the product road map.”
For the second straight year, FIS is a recipient of an IBM Beacon Award, which distinguishes the best solutions IBM business partners deliver across the world. FIS was named the “Best Industry Solution for Banking” for its TouchPoint delivery channel solution. The award was based on FIS’ deployment of TouchPoint Sales & Service and Teller with Image Capture at Bank of the West. TouchPoint is an integrated suite of multi-channel sales and service solutions that enable banks to gain significant operational efficiencies, streamline customer service transactions, and reduce redundancies and errors.
Two solutions powered by FIS prepaid solutions were recognized in the 2011 Paybefore Awards. The U.S. Bank AccelaPay Mobile Banking Application – a reloadable prepaid card – was recognized as one of three winners in the “Best Virtual or Mobile Prepaid Application” category. In addition, Grass Roots Prepaid Cards – which provides the Pure Card prepaid rewards card – was one of three winners in the category of “Best Non-U.S.-based Prepaid Program.”
“Paybefore awards celebrate the innovators in our industry who are using prepaid to transform payments with increasingly efficient and accessible products,” said Loraine DeBonis, Paybefore editor-in-chief and chair of the judging panel. “Our industry is growing rapidly because of companies like FIS and Montise Americas, who continually improve its products and services to meet market demand,” she continued. “We are proud to recognize their contributions to advancing the prepaid industry.”
“As an industry-leading technology provider, we continually strive to present the best-in-breed solutions that provide our clients the tools they need to succeed,” said Gary Norcross, chief operating officer, FIS. “Being recognized with awards from Celent, IBM and Paybefore validate the strength of our solutions and their focus in helping our clients succeed.”
