Sage North America announced a new integration between its Sage ERP X3 business process management software for midsized distributors and manufacturers and Sage Exchange, its fully integrated and Payment Card Industry (PCI) certified payments platform. Sage ERP X3 customers in North America using versions 5 or 6 can now use Sage Exchange to process credit and debit card transactions that auto post into their Sage ERP X3 system in a secure, PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) environment.
The new Sage ERP X3 Credit Card Interface can help businesses streamline their payments process; increase order and payment accuracy; and deliver an improved customer experience by providing the convenience of accepting bank card payments in an integrated environment. Processing payments through Sage Exchange can help Sage ERP X3 customers increase their businesses’ security and lessen their PCI compliance burden. With all sensitive credit card information stored securely in the cloud-based Sage Payments Vault, businesses can feel confident their information is readily available when they need it, yet hidden from those who should not have access.
