Travelex joined MasterCard and Access Prepaid to introduce a new tool for international travelers with the launch of the new Multi-Currency Cash Passport Prepaid MasterCard. The new travel money card is the first of its kind available in the U.S. and can carry up to five foreign currencies simultaneously. The Multi-Currency Cash Passport is sold exclusively at www.travelex.com and more than 200 Travelex stores throughout the U.S, including locations in most major airports, cities and key tourist areas. Money can be seamlessly reloaded to the card online or in Travelex stores as needed (subject to card limits). Funds can also be transferred from one currency to another, particularly beneficial to multi-destination travelers.
B+S Card Service launched its PCI PTS 3.0 compliant VX820 DUET and VX680 payment terminals to the UK market offering its merchants greater speed and reliability for electronic payments. The VX820 is B+S’s premium class, contactless enabled, countertop terminal with an efficient, compact design whilst the VX680 is its contactless enabled mobile terminal that is highly suitable for use in the hospitality sector. The EMV approved VX820 incorporates a large 3.5″ colour touch screen display, integrated contactless reader and PSTN, ISDN and DSL connectivity options.
