VA-based 3Delta Systems (3DSI) has inked a deal with Nordstrom’s HauteLook, an online private sale channel. Under terms of the deal 3DSI will provide card processing and added security for card-not-present transactions involving major card brands and Nordstrom private label cards.
3DSI says its CardVault tokenization and card processing services will give Nordstrom/HauteLook the capability to further secure customer credit card payments without the sensitive cardholder information entering their systems or databases.
3DSI pioneered CardVault in 2003 so merchants could exchange their customers’ confidential card data. The company has met the PCI DSS requirements for safeguarding cardholder data against fraud and data security breaches and is a participating organization in the PCI Security Standards Council. CardVault’s card processing capabilities are powered by Payment WorkSuite.
Acquired by Nordstrom in March 2011, HauteLook is a leader in the online private sale channel, offering limited time sale events on the world’s top fashion and lifestyle brands. In May 2014, Nordstrom Rack, the off-price retail division of Nordstrom, Inc. launched nordstromrack.com, a new e-commerce site and mobile app, built on a shared platform with HauteLook.
In the past year, 3DSI processed over 22 million transactions worth over 19 billion dollars for more than 10,000 merchant accounts and 30,000 users.
