Dallas-based private label credit card specialist Alliance Data Systems (ADS) reports delinquency and charge-offs declined again in November. The trend mirrors the bank credit card market.
Compared to one-year ago, delinquency is down 20 basis points (bp) and charge-offs are down 140 bps.
ADS reported average outstandings of $10.1 billion, up 31% year-on-year.
Delinquency (30+ days) declined from 4.3% in November 2013 to 4.1% for November 2014.
Net charge-offs, as a percentage of average receivables, declined from 5.2% to 3.8% over the same period.
ADS Retail Services manages more than 135 private label and co-brand credit programs.
Last month, ADS signed a multi-year renewal agreement to continue to provide private label credit card services for Arhaus Furniture, a Cleveland-based retailer of handcrafted, one-of-a-kind furniture for the home or office made by artisans all over the world.
