iPad point-of-sale (POS) solutions provider for retailers and restaurants, Bindo, is teaming with Powa Technologies and APG China, a well-known producer of retail industry cash drawers. Powa Technologies is a specialist in retail commerce and technology hardware.
As part of the agreement, Bindo, Powa Technologies and APG China will offer retailers the unprecedented convenience of an all-in-one POS and hardware solution.
Retailers can transform the way their stores function with the PowaPOS T25, the first tablet-based POS hardware to integrate common retail peripherals, including a 2D barcode scanner and thermal printer, all in one sophisticated, space-saving design. The Bindo/PowaPOS bundle also integrates with the APG cash drawer.
Leveraging this new, convenient feature from Bindo’s POS system, businesses and consumers will be able to handle transactions more easily and stay better organized. With the PowaPOS/Bindo bundle, merchants benefit from an advanced hardware solution that complements Bindo’s powerful software technology.
Instead of having to use multiple hardware devices and mismatched components, merchants can now have common retail peripherals all in one sophisticated, space saving design. In addition, by running on Bluetooth versus WiFi, merchants will have more stability for printing receipts in low-Internet-coverage retail environments.
The new package promises to improve the POS experience and offer Bindo users an even easier and more customized solution. This integration is just another way that Bindo is differentiating from other POS providers.
Bindo and PowaPOS have also integrated with the Octopus payment terminal, thus becoming the first and only iPad POS system in Hong Kong to have such functionality. The combined POS system will offer merchants the ability to check out customers using the Octopus NFC technology, and to also top up credits for consumers.
