Sionic Mobile has ankled Spencer White as Chief Operating Officer and EVP Business Development. With more than 25 years experience, White co-founded Softcard (the AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile mobile wallet joint venture – formerly Isis) whose technology was recently purchased by Google.
Prior to Softcard, White served as Director of Mobile Financial Services for AT&T, leading the company’s strategy and product efforts. White will leverage the Company’s enterprise-grade, ION mobile loyalty and payments platform in forging strategic alliances and white label partnerships to accelerate widespread adoption across multiple channels.
Small and medium-sized business (SMB) merchants use ION Loyalty’s mobile ads, gift cards payments and rewards to increase foot traffic and high-margin sales and get good customers back more often. He holds leadership positions in multiple organizations, encouraging and establishing cross-industry collaboration between all parties holding a vested interest in the mobile payments ecosystem. Additionally, he launched the first direct-to-consumer and third party e-commerce channels for Philips Consumer Electronics.
