U.S. Bank’s Elavon has promoted Wally Mlynarski to senior vice president of global product and innovation. Mlynarski previously served as vice president of Elavon’s “The Grove” global innovation center, which launched in 2013 to harvest customer-centered innovation in payments and establish key partnerships with third party innovators.
In his new role he will be responsible for overseeing the company’s global, cross-functional product development teams and for driving the rollout of innovative and industry-leading initiatives, including mobile payment solutions, EMV migration and security solutions, to help customers grow their businesses.
Mlynarski holds a bachelor’s of science degree in computer engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He currently serves on the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Mobility Taskforce and is an active supporter of Georgia Tech and other universities in metro Atlanta where he resides with his wife and daughter.
