Austin-based RideScout has acquired GlobeSherpa, a market leader in mobile solutions for public transportation with mobile book-and-pay ticketing in several major US markets, such as Portland, San Francisco and Chicago.
With the integration of GlobeSherpa’s transit mobile ticketing technology, RideScout is making significant advancements with their access, booking, and payment options. Together, the companies will offer comprehensive solutions for an integrated mobility ecosystem, including:
• Multiple transportation options accessed through one platform, with booking and payment integrated to allow for a seamless experience.
• Critical last-mile transportation connectivity for commuters and public transit riders.
• Mobility packages to incentivize people to use a variety of transportation providers.

As RideScout begins to integrate GlobeSherpa’s technology, users will be able to see all transportation options on their mobile device, select the one they want, and pay for the ride, or access it, with just a few taps.
