Jacob de Geer is a Swedish serial entrepreneur. He is co-founder and CEO of iZettle, the fast-growing payments company that allows anyone to accept card payments on their smartphone or tablet.
Prior to iZettle, Jacob worked at performance marketing firm TradeDoubler. Here he helped to build one of the largest advertising networks in Europe before leaving to co-found movie sharing firm Ameibo and then Tre Kronor Media, an award-winning communications agency. Both companies were acquired in 2010.
Jacob is now fully focused on developing iZettle in its mission to democratize card payments, allowing individuals and small businesses to accept payments in a simple, affordable and secure way.
Magnus Nilsson is a Swedish serial entrepreneur and the founding COO of iZettle, the fast-growing payments company whose first service whose first service consists of an app, a chip-card reader and a free business management software tool, the iZettle Portal. iZettle lets anyone take card payments and manage and grow their business. Magnus started his career at the EF Education Group, where he headed up commercial activities in the US. He then became President of EF Europe and subsequently Executive Vice President of the EF Education Group. Magnus was with EF Education for over 13 years.
After leaving EF Education in 1996, Magnus was part of the founding team and also worked as an executive director at Novestra AB, a publicly listed investment company, as CEO at Wayfinder Systems, a consumer technology company and as founder and Chief Executive at Nordic Wireless, an investment company focusing on opportunities in the TIME (Telecom, Internet, Media and Entertainment) industries. Under Magnus’s leadership, Wayfinder floated on the Swedish stock exchange and the company was acquired by Vodafone in February 2009.
Since January 2010, Magnus is fully focused on his work with iZettle. The mission is to democratise card payments and give individuals and small businesses the possibility to accept card payments in a simple, affordable and secure way.
