MasterCard continues to outpace Visa in the Latin America Caribbean (LAC) region in year-on-year (YOY) growth in gross dollar volume (GDV), on a currency adjusted basis. According to CardData, MasterCard’s LAC YOY GDV growth has consistently exceeded Visa’s growth for the prior seven quarters.
