Dallas-based Avalon Solutions Group, the mother of myOmny and a technology company focused on the development of Software as a Service (SaaS) based solutions to support merchant payment processes for small businesses, announced today a $5 million funding deal.
Avalon Solutions will use this investment to finance the company’s growth and achieve aggressive merchant acquisition goals. The primary focus will be to complete the development of the service and go to market with the sales and marketing support necessary to roll out a new service in the mobile payments market.
The first $3 million was raised in August 2014 from a private investor. Avalon Solutions Group later received another $2 million from the same investor, making these two raises a significant achievement for the technology company.
Avalon Solutions Group’s core product is myOmny, a SaaS enterprise business management solution for the small-to-medium business (SMB) market. This software combines mobile Point of Sale (mPOS), accounting/Quickbooks integration, customer engagement, financial reporting, scheduling and recurring billing through a mobile platform.
