NCR – NCR announced Nationwide Building Society has chosen NCR to help transform its branch experience and banking services available on-line, on-mobile and via other digital channels for its members. After adopting NCR CxBanking software earlier this year to provide exceptional customer experience across digital and physical channels, Nationwide will now be adding the latest multifunction NCR SelfServ 91 ATM to the existing suite of devices across its retail estate. This is part of Nationwide’s 500 branch refurbishment program being carried out over the next 5 years.
PAYCOMMERCE – PayCommerce will help sponsor the Citi Mobile Challenge in Asia Pacific. Citi Mobile Challenge is a virtual competition that invites developers from around the world to present innovative solutions based on Citi’s digital platform. Selected participants will demonstrate their concepts at events in Bangalore, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Sydney. Finalists compete for an opportunity to take their technologies into production with Citi’s support, plus a share of USD $100,000 in cash awards and a suite of services from Citi Mobile Challenge sponsors.
CARD1 – Financial technology startup Card1, which turns a single payment card into a secure, universal card by connecting it to a unique cloud-based digital wallet, is raising funds through a crowdfunding campaign on IndieGoGo to assist in delivering Card1 to market in 2016.
