The online trading platform TradeEase was launched, as the first Chinese e-commerce platform for cross-border online trading specialized and customized for Russian market.
TradeEase offers to Russian buyers with local customer service, fully localized website and rubles pricing which helps buyers save up to 3-4% of cost. TradeEase will also implement very strict quality control policy on all the products sold through the platform. The platform intends to introduce to Russia a good online shopping experience for good quality products from thousands of Chinese brands.
On the TradeEase platform, Russians can buy gadgets, household appliance, clothes, shoes, accessories, sport supplies, auto parts, as well as many other products. The platform currently offers goods from 200 Chinese online shops at the time of the launch and over 800 shops will be available by the end of this year. TradeEase expects to attract over hundred thousand Russian customers as members during the first three months.
By September end, the platform is planning to introduce the import service to sell good quality Russian goods to China consumers.
The Russian payment processing is processed by the Russian strategic partner by Yandex.Money, the largest electronic payment service in Russia according to a 2015 survey by TNS Russia. Yandex.Money offers online stores Yandex Payment Solution, accepting online payments by all the most popular methods among residents of Russia and other CIS countries: bank cards, e-wallets, mobile billing through the top Russia/CIS providers, and cash via over 170,000 cash-acceptance points all over Russia.
Buyers can pay via Yandex.Money using their e-wallet or any bank card. Bank of China is the financial service strategic partner to provide the Ruble to RMB FX conversion and other value added financial services to TradeEase sellers in China.
