CYBERSOURCE – CyberSource, a Visa company, and one of the world’s largest providers of eCommerce payment management services, inked a partnership with LINE Thailand, a mobile messenger service application (app). This agreement will allow LINE Thailand to enable mobile payments for its users on LINE Pay, the app’s mobile payment service. Through this partnership, CyberSource will offer its full suite of payment, fraud management and tokenization services for LINE Thailand. Via CyberSource’s global payment gateway,
EVED – Eved, an event commerce company built by event experts for event experts, has launched EvedPay, a payment solution designed to automate the back-end financial and reconciliation processes for events. The new offering includes all of the invoice-to-pay capabilities from the company’s full platform solution, Eved for Corporate.
CHILI’S – For Chili’s® Grill & Bar guests, paying the check at lunch and dinner is about to get even easier. The brand, which currently offers guests the ability to swipe and pay on demand through Ziosk tablets which are located on every restaurant table, is planning to integrate mobile payment functionality on its more than 70,000 tablets nationwide starting spring 2016 with all company-owned restaurants.
CUP – China UnionPay released the consumption data of UnionPay cards during the National Day Holiday of 2015 (from October 1 to October 7, same hereinafter). The total volume of inter-bank transaction by UnionPay cards reached 646.9 billion Yuan, and the total number of transaction exceeded 500 million, with a year-on-year growth of 25.4% and 19.5% respectively. In addition, the year-on-year growth of the volume and number of overseas offline transaction by UnionPay cards is 17% and 24% respectively.
