GPN – Global Payments announced an agreement with talech Inc, a cloud-based POS solution, to offer its U.S. merchants an industry-leading tablet solution that, when coupled with the Ingenico iCMP device, allows them to take advantage of both EMV and contactless technology services.
MYPINPAD – myPINpad, a UK based technology company which enables multi-channel and multi-factor authentication via the Cardholder PIN, announces a new partnership with VocaLink, the international payments provider, to bring their PIN based authentication solution to digital commerce applications.
AZIMO – Azimo, the digital money transfer service, has introduced direct payment to any bank account in Nigeria with the service free for the next three months. With unmatched rates on the market, the service is also amongst the fastest, with funds being received in under two hours.
UNIONPAY – UnionPay International disclosed that almost all ATMs and POS terminals in Hong Kong are able to accept UnionPay cards, and an increasing number of local residents prefer to use UnionPay cards in daily purchasing and cross-border traveling. UnionPay has started its international strategy in Hong Kong, and now it has become the No.1 bankcard among all the newly-issued bankcards in Hong Kong. Currently, UnionPay International has cooperated with all issuers in Hong Kong in issuing over 16 million.
