FISERV – Fiserv has ankled Michael O’Laughlin has been named president of its Biller Solutions business. The Biller Solutions business encompasses the broadest array of bill presentment and payment services in the industry delivered through web, mobile, telephone and walk-in channels. In this role, O’Laughlin will provide strategic and operating oversight for the business and be responsible for growing Fiserv payments leadership in this important segment.
ALLIED -Allied Wallet, a provider of online payment processing, multi-currency merchant services, and a PCI Level 1 secured payment gateway, recently released their new “Next Gen Payment Gateway” for online payment processing. This new payment gateway offers a flexible, new API platform.
FTC – The Federal Trade Commission and the State of Florida have charged CardReady, a payment processing business, with credit card laundering and illegally assisting and facilitating a nationwide debt relief telemarketing scheme that allegedly bilked millions of dollars from consumers.
