Mr. Vague’s noteworthy ventures include co-founding and serving as CEO of two credit card companies – First USA and Juniper Financial. Under his supervision, First USA, which reached over $60 billion in loans, grew to be the largest Visa card issuer in the industry and was sold to Bank One in 1997. At Juniper Financial, Mr. Vague oversaw the acquisition of 4 million customers, $4 billion in loans. Juniper was acquired by Barclays PLC, where Mr. Vague then served as Chief Executive of Barclaycard US.
VOXOX – Voxox announced a major channel sales promotion available through its Channel Partner Program. The limited-time incentive begins on the first day of the Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas, March 16, and ends on March 31. As part of this promotion, channel partners who turn in Hosted PBX and SIP trunking deals will receive a sum equivalent to 200% of the deal’s first month revenue, payable on commission run in which Voxox collects first payment. All regularly priced, two-year Hosted PBX and SIP trunking contracts qualify for this bonus, including hosted bundled packages with term and volume discounts. The spiff is based on the Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRC) of the deal, excluding taxes and surcharges. Additionally, channel partners who turn in any deal at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo will receive a $100 gift card.
TSI – Transaction Security has been granted a very important Patent, which protects Mobile user data and communications, including secure device/cloud communications, and secure transactions. TSI Founder and patent co-author, Rod Beatson, believes it will significantly improve the security of data stored on the devices, protect user privacy and provide greater user convenience, through eliminating the need to enter and remember complex passwords. It will also reduce card payment and ID fraud associated with mobile payments and chip card transactions.
