PYMNTS – The winners of the 2016 PYMNTS/Alexa Challenge include Visa and USAA. There were 12 teams and 14 companies in a five-week competition to use Alexa and her voice-activated technology to reimagine how consumers interact with their payments and financial services solutions providers.
ELAVON – U.S. Bank’s Elavon has been chosen by Ariane Systems, a world leader in self-service check-in/out technology for the hospitality industry, to provide its Simplify security solution to Ariane’s more than 3,000 hotel customers in 25 countries.

AMEX —American Express announced the launch of its fifth annual Pride campaign to celebrate LGBTQ Card Members, merchants, employees and local communities. Coinciding with New York’s Pride festivities and marking the one-year anniversary of the Supreme Court’s marriage equality decision, the theme for this year’s campaign encourages consumers to share how they “Express Love” every day. The 11-market program features multiple activations including: a social media call-to-action to #ExpressLove, local merchant recognition events, a presence in local Pride celebrations, support for local LGBTQ nonprofit organizations, national advertisements and more.
