U Plan is the world’s first open cross-border marketing service platform launched by a bankcard organization.
Adopting mobile Internet technology, it offers locating service, accurate marketing service and instant discounts for cross-border consumption.
Since its launch this July, more than 300 well-known merchants in Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand as well as many cross-border financial, tourism and retail service providers have joined U Plan, to jointly build a cross-border consumption ecosystem based on mobile Internet.
This time, CEB’s participation in U Plan offers another channel of getting U Plan coupons. From now on, the mobile app for CEB credit cards will set a special section for U Plan. Customers may select merchants and get exclusive QR code coupons in this section. When shopping at stores, customers are able to enjoy the highest discount available by presenting the QR code and paying with UnionPay cards.
Customers may get U Plan coupons from the mobile apps of UnionPay International, Bank of China, CMBC and dianping.com too. They may also receive the coupons at their travel destinations when using the apps of CYTS, Ctrip, Spring Airlines and Qunar to book airline tickets and hotels.
