Denver-based Public Service Credit Union, with 16,000 credit card accounts and $35 million in outstandings, has partnered with MBNA. Public Service Credit Union is a not-for-profit, state-chartered, member-owned, financial institution with 80,000 members. MBNA has over 85 partnerships with credit unions.
Houston-based Shell Employees FCU has signed a long-term debit and credit card processing contract with PSCU Financial Services. PSCU Financial Services will convert more than 18,000 debit accounts for signature and PIN processing and 5,000 ATM accounts to the Debit Advantage platform and 9,000 credit card accounts to the CreditAbility platform for the $293 million, 28,000-member credit union. PSCU Financial Services is the nation’s largest credit union service organization, representing more than 8 million cardholder accounts and 200,000 online bill payment subscribers.
PSCU Financial Services announced four regional meetings to help its member-owners focus on building successful credit and debit card programs with the first scheduled for Honolulu on August 5th. The meetings will discuss “how to” tactics for segment marketing, activation and growth strategies, ways to combat fraud and new technologies that provide enhanced cardholder service. These meetings will be free to member-owners. PSCU Financial Services is the nation’s largest Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO). As a non-profit cooperative, the company is owned by more than 500 member credit unions nationwide.
