Ingenico provider of payment solutions has received certification for the MasterCard PayPass 3.0 terminal specification for its countertop iCT250 terminal. Ingenico offers each market segment a comprehensive range of PayPass 3.0 leading-edge approved terminals for the latest terminal specification from MasterCard, suporting contactless card acceptance as well as other PayPass enabled form factors such as mobile phones, stickers, and wristwatches. Ingenico has certified the full specification which enables the terminal to accept payments where the cardholder can authenticate the transaction by entering their PIN on the mobile phone handset, and then tapping their handset on the terminal.

Ramki Yalamanchili has been appointed to the Board of Directors at Prepaid International Forum (PIF), to support its efforts to create new opportunities in the global prepaid market and accelerate the adoption of prepaid services worldwide. PIF is a not-for-profit trade association which represents all parties participating on a commercial basis in the prepaid industry. In working to develop cross-industry guidelines and guiding principles to encourage best practices for profitable and ethical participation in the prepaid economy. TransCard and Business Solutions, an ABA subsidiary, announced a multiple year extension of their partnership. The Community Bank Prepaid Program offers banks the lowest cost/lowest risk new deposit product, in which participants range in size from $60 million to $13 billion in assets. The pace of new signings gives every indication that the launch of prepaid programs by national banks will expand the opportunity to grow the program.
Bluepoint Solutions and CFC Technology forged a partnership to offer mobile check capture and consumer in-home check capture to community banks and credit unions. CFC Technology will add Bluepoint’s QwikDeposit ToGo and QwikDeposit Home remote deposit capture solutions to its current product portfolio. Bluepoint’s QwikDeposit ToGo allows smartphone users to take photos of their checks with their mobile phone and deposit those checks to their checking or savings account. Smartphone users simply download the application provided by their financial institution to their mobile device and follow the app’s step-by-step deposit instructions. CFC will offer QwikDeposit ToGo as both an integrated or as a standalone solution.
Apriva wireless transactions, gateway services, and secure information solutions has certified VeriFone’s new VX Evolution line of terminals for payment processing through the Apriva gateway. The EMV-ready VX680 and VX520 are immediately available to the company’s network of over 850 merchant acquirers that are connected through the Apriva gateway to its network of more than 30 certified payment processors. Apriva embedded its highly-regarded proprietary security protocol, AprivaTalk™, in both terminals to maintain superior security for all transactions that pass through the Apriva gateway.
ROAM Data an Ingenico company and mCommerce Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) provider has appointed Ken Paull CEO. Ingenico decided to strengthen ROAM Data’s management team with the appointment of Ken Paull as CEO. Paull, who previously served as the company’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, will start in his new role effective immediately.
VeriFone Systems announced that Wenda Harris Millard, president and chief operating officer of MediaLink LLC, was named to VeriFone’s board of directors. Millard was a key driver at DoubleClick, Ziff Davis, Yahoo!, and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia before assuming her current role with MediaLink, an advisory firm that provides critical counsel and strategic direction to the media, marketing, advertising, entertainment and technology industries.
