NFC Foundation Names Chair & Chair Elect

The NFC Foundation Board of Directors elected Gary Spinazze to a two year term as Chair of the NFC Foundation, the charitable giving arm of Nash Finch Company. Board Member Paula Docken, Business Analyst, chair of the Community Outreach Committee was named as Chair Elect. The NFC Foundation Board is comprised entirely of Nash Finch employees who volunteer their time, energy and passion for community service in service to the Foundation and the community. Nash Finch Company supports the Foundation by shouldering the Foundation’s administrative expenses to ensure that donations are used to support those in need. Nash Finch associates from around the country volunteer on Foundation Committees as well as for our non-profit partners, donating their time, skills and money in support of the Foundation’s mission.

Société Générale Bank & Trust Implements FRSGlobal Reporting

Wolters Kluwer Financial Services announced that Société Générale Bank & Trust has gone live with its FRSGlobal regulatory reporting solution. Société Générale Bank & Trust chose the FRSGlobal Regulatory Reporting solution to help automate, standardize and simplify its Singapore and Hong Kong regulatory returns. Subsequently, the bank will offer automation, standardization and simplification of reports as a result of less reliance on dependencies across the end to end process; strong audit trails of data flows; and consistency across the different reports presented to the regulators. TSYS Launches Value Added Resource Program

TSYS announced the launch of its new VAR Partner Connect Program, focused on TSYS’ extensive VAR partner relationships and provides TSYS clients access to industry-leading third-party payment processing applications across a range of industries. By engaging actively with TSYS, VAR partners will now have access to multiple avenues designed to give them visibility with TSYS clients, as well as more individualized partner support and advanced product and service notifications. First Data to invest $18 million in German operations

First Data electronic commerce and payment processing and owner of First Data Deutschland and TeleCash GmbH & Co. KG, has signalled its commitment to the German market by securing long-term leases at its Bad Vilbel and Nuremberg facilities and announcing plans for several major IT infrastructure investments. This in conjunction with finalizing lease negotiations on its premises, securing presence in the building until at least 2017 to remain the regional hub. First Data also confirmed the extension of its lease, to at least end 2017, at its premises in Nuremberg, from which mainly operational services are being provided.

Over 10 million Bank of America customers are now using mobile banking, representing growth of nearly 3 million active users over the last 12 months. Bank of America’s mobile banking customers have the ability to check account balances, transfer funds, pay bills and find the closest ATM, all from their mobile device. Bank of America was among the first to launch mobile banking apps for Apple, BlackBerry and Android devices and the only bank that has deployed a tablet‐specific app for all three platforms: Apple, Kindle and Android.

DataCash signs airline Volotea

Global payment services provider, DataCash, has added to its portfolio of international airline customers with Volotea, a European airline specialising in connecting small and mid-sized European cities with non-stop direct flights at competitive prices. Implementing DataCash will help it manage its international payment processing which will allow customers from any geographical location to book flights to any of Volotea’s 52 European destinations. For this, DataCash has deployed its “Global Payments Gateway” which will provide Volotea multi-currency bank card processing and online transaction security technology, 3-D Secure, with more services to follow.
