Commerce Bank have come together with The National Wild Turkey Federation to offer NWTF members a Visa® rewards credit card, the only credit card that gives back to the NWTF. Ukash Global eMoney Network announced Standard Bank internet banking account holders will now be able to buy Ukash vouchers directly from their accounts, enabling them to shop online without revealing personal details. Standard Bank customer banking solutions offers the Autopay system that enables its account holders to pay online for goods and services directly from a linked account. Now enabling Ukash, Standard Bank’s Autopay allows consumers in South Africa to shop and pay online with “cash” wherever Ukash vouchers are accepted.
Xerox and Equitrac have created “AutoPay”, a self-payment solution for
Office Depot’s print customers. “AutoPay” allows customers to purchase
their prints directly from a Xerox
multifunction printer with the swipe of a credit card, store
purchasing card or gift card. The solution automatically estimates the
cost of the job, verifies there are sufficient funds on the card,
applies Office Depot Worklife Rewards loyalty points, and prints a
receipt when the job is complete. “AutoPay” works on Office Depotâs fleet
of Xerox WorkCentre 5655 and 7655 color MFPs across more than 1,100
stores in the U.S. The customized solution was made possible by
integrating “Xerox Secure Access Unified ID” system card readers and
Equitrac software for secure payments from the device.
San Francisco-based online payment provider ChargeSmart has experienced growth in
automotive loans and leases transaction since the company launched its online service this past
July. Current usage trends gathered by the company indicate that a high
percentage of consumers are paying auto loans using its service and are
scheduling future automotive transactions up to a year in advance using
ChargeSmart’s âAutoPayâ feature. ChargeSmart follows Payment Card
Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS), including the use of
High-grade AES 256-bit SSL encryption, an industry standard technique,
to safeguard consumersâ private information that is transmitted via the
Internet. With a network of more than 4,000 billers, ChargeSmartâs
comprehensive Web-based payment application allows consumers with a
major credit card to make payments to companies in four different
industries, including auto loans and/or leases, home mortgages,
education loans and utility companies.

My Account allows users to schedule and manage automatic payments, set payment reminders, make payments using pre-filled contact information, view transaction history, and offer feedback regarding services. Official Payments charges a convenience fee for some services. Citizens and businesses using credit or debit cards with bonus rewards programs may, depending on their card’s program, earn reward points, airline frequent flyer miles or cash back for paying their taxes and fees.

This news follows a recent IRS report that showed significant growth in cardbased tax payments during 2006. LINK2GOV processes payments immediately and provides a confirmation number as proof of payment. LINK2GOV also facilitates the collection of state income taxes, real estate taxes, utility bills, vehicle registrations, driver’s license renewals, parking tickets, traffic citations, tuition payments, court fees and fines, hunting and fishing licenses, as well as various business licenses. A convenience fee of 2.49% of the tax payment (minimum $1.00) is charged by LINK2GOV for using this service. The convenience fee for business tax payments is tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. Redwood City, CA-based Yodlee has launched a new service that enables consumers to pay bills with credit or debit cards in addition to ACH. “Yodlee BillPay” offers the benefits of both the consolidated bill pay model (single console for managing all bills) and the biller direct model (flexible payment instruments, same-day credit, direct confirmation of payment from biller). Yodlee says the service makes bill paying a profitable venture for financial institutions since it generates interchange revenue. Payments (for over 2,600 merchants) are stored in Yodlee’s “Payment Warehouse” and routed to the appropriate end points, including a proprietary “Direct Payment” engine, which facilitates payments directly at biller Web sites or via connections to third party payment service providers. Yodlee allows payments to be routed to the channel that offers the lowest cost and/or highest profit, as well as providing the fastest fulfillment of payment requests.
