Virtual Piggy appointed Joseph Dwyer its Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Dwyer is an experienced software industry executive with over twenty years of experience at the CFO and CAO level for both public and private companies, including OpenLink Financial, Energy Solutions International, Capstone Advisory Group, AXS-One, Synergen and Caminus Corp. Mr. Dwyer brings a high-level of financial and analytical experience as he has helped his companies grow both organically and through M&A activity. He is a CPA and holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame.
Greg Haney has been appointed Executive VP, Operations with Online Resources digital financial services. He will oversee Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) business. Bringing to the role over 20 years’ experience, Greg was most recently senior VP, Operations of Biller Services for Fiserv, overseeing daily operations and played a major role in developing strategic relationships with Visa, MasterCard, Discover and others. Haney was also instrumental in creating the business model which allowed BillMatrix (now part of Fiserv) to provide electronic payment services to clients within the boundaries of ACH and card association compliance. He was also a financial services consultant for electronic payments and interchange management to merchants, payment processors and card-issuing clients to improve their overall operations.
David B. Brown has been named senior vice president and chief accounting officer (CAO) with MoneyGram International. The CAO position was created to bring together the various accounting and finance functions under one executive for better efficiencies. He will oversee accounting, tax and financial planning & analysis. He brings to the role experience as chief financial officer for Dresser, a GE subsidiary, and led the recent integration of Dresser into various business units of GE’s energy division. He also holds a B.B.A., Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and is a certified public accountant in the State of Texas.
Certified Payment Processing (CPP) has appointed Mike Hutchison the new Senior VP, Sales to oversee CPP’s TransTech Merchant Group, Summit Merchant Solutions and ISIS Direct sales divisions. He brings to the role a background that includes 20-plus years of successful sales and sales management. He began his career with Associates First Capital Corporation and has also held positions with Citigroup and Curomax, where he served as National Sales Manager. He earned his BBA in Finance at Austin College in Sherman, Texas. CPP is a direct provider of credit card processing services and also leases point-of-sale terminals that quickly process all forms of payments: debit and credit card transactions, gift cards and checks.
Tom Shaw has been appointed Senior VP, Operations and Administration with Certified Payment Processing (CPP). Here he will oversee such strategic areas as training, human resources and the telemarketing center, to which he brings more than 25 years’ experience. Prior to this, Shaw served as VP, Human Resources for Noble Royalties, Vice President, Human Resources and Administration at Crescent Real Estate Equities, and Senior VP, Human Resources at The Associates. He holds a BBA in Management and concentration in Human Resources from the University of Texas in Austin.
John Postle has been named to GM of its Jack Henry & Associates’ Payment Processing Solutions (PPS) division. PPS encompasses Jack Henry & Associates’ “jhaPassPort” suite of ATM and debit transaction processing services, and the payment processing services added through the company’s October 2009 acquisition of Pemco Technologies. He served the past 10 years as the manager of the “jhaPassPort” business line and was instrumental in the acquisition of Pemco Technologies. Effective July 1, 2011, he began providing executive oversight of the development, quality assurance, support, installation, operations, communications, and education departments that support PPS. In his expanded role, he joined the company’s senior management team that encompasses functionally aligned general managers. He holds a BBA in Finance.
