WA-based INRIX has completed the acquisition of ParkMe, a Santa Monica, CA company that helps consumers find parking, make reservations and mobile payments worldwide. This deal makes INRIX the preferred provider of parking information and services to leading automakers, transportation agencies and drivers around the world.

BMW Bank of North America is re-launching a new, three-tiered BMW Credit Card program with an expanded Visa credit card collection. The BMW Card, the BMW Signature Card and the BMW Ultimate Card – issued by the BMW Bank targets existing cardholders, introducing them to the new program and, where applicable, inviting them to upgrade to another tier, all without changing their account numbers. Cardholders will have access to a range of premium reward redemption options developed from customer feedback and realigned with the BMW brand, including enhanced point earnings and a broader array of redemption levels.

Serverside Group has upgraded its existing Image Checking service to allow images selected for card creation to be screened prior to printing and made available the “ImageValidator” optional upgrade. The “ImageValidator” is an image checking tool that enables issuers to achieve greater certainty about the origin or appropriateness of an image in much less time. The “ImageValidator” instantly indicates whether an image, or similar image, has been checked before; informs the image checker of all previous decisions made for an image if it has been checked before, avoiding duplication and ensuring consistency; and searches the internet for other instances of the uploaded card image and provides links to any found images. The new tool is powered by TinEye.
ChannelNet has made available its “Mobile Financial” solution to serve financial services organizations. UMB Bank, n.a., the lead bank of UMB Financial Corporation has acquired
CardPartner from Serverside Group. The agreement was
signed in the first quarter 2010 and terms of the deal are not disclosed.
CardPartner specializes in helping U.S.-based membership organizations
and charities create custom Visa credit card programs.
The acquisition is a natural evolution of the relationship between UMB
and CardPartner. In 2008, the two companies partnered to create a free,
customized affinity Visa credit card program for organizations and
not-for-profits of all sizes. UMB has been the issuer and financial
custodian of the credit cards, which assist not-for-profit organizations
in raising funds via use of the cards. Serverside has
built a market-leading position by running more than 1,000 card programs
through its network of approximately 200 card issuers in 23 countries.
