FIS (FIS) banking and payments technology announced KeyBank selected its front-to-back prepaid solution that will enable the bank to create a new payments channel for its business and public sector clients. The multi-year agreement includes transaction processing, integrated voice response for customer care and card fulfillment. The open-loop, reloadable prepaid cards aligns perfectly with this approach by giving card beneficiaries easy access to funds, while creating new efficiencies for corporate and public sector clients – particularly those migrating from paper-based processes.
Foursquare has deployed Cirrus Insight on its AppExchange business apps marketplace, a browser extension for Chrome and Firefox that instantly displays contextual Salesforce information alongside emails in Gmail. The Dan Beard Council of the Boy Scouts of America is the latest to implement “SAIL” by VeriFone to improve troop fundraising efforts for its annual Popcorn Sale. The Dan Beard Council is distributing SAIL card readers to individual troop leaders who sign up for the program. Those troop leaders are able to instantly sign up for merchant accounts and to assign multiple users to the account so that parents of individual scouts can run card transactions on iOS and Android devices, as well as handle voided sales and refunds, without access to account administrator functions. Each troop leader will receive a free SAIL card reader that can be used across multiple devices that utilize the SAIL mobile app; troop leaders can also request up to 10 additional readers to distribute to parents.
VeriFone Systems officially kicked off its “SAIL Developer Portal” for application developers, granting access to tools and APIs that enable them to integrate with the SAIL mobile payment platform. The new mobile payment solution provides tools for independent developers to easily integrate instant enrollment with an open platform that enables mobile application developers and technology providers to build their own payment or marketing solutions with VeriFone infrastructure. The SAIL Developer Portal features a SAIL Instant Commerce Toolkit that enables developer plug-and-play access to the components of the SAIL Open Payment platform, including APIs for real time merchant enrollment, payment processing through the secure SAIL payments engine, as well as inventory and data sync capabilities. Developers can use the complete toolkit to develop their own iOS and Android mobile payments solutions, without having to rebuild secure gateway or mobile device driver assets.
Fiserv financial services technology solutions will enhance its “Financial Advice Solutions” by integrating Morningstar data and analytics. This will integrate a number of Morningstar databases into the front-office “Financial Advice Solutions” from Fiserv for retirement income modeling, financial planning and Monte Carlo simulations. With the new integrated modules powered by Morningstar data, advisors will be able to access, analyze and propose multi-vehicle, multi-asset class investment portfolios with historical simulations and related performance statistics.
Winn-Dixie Stores announced customers who shop at any of its 54 New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Lafayette-area stores using the new Customer Reward Card (CRC) will earn fuel savings at Shell stations through the “fuelperks!” Rewards program. This launch is part of the grocer’s ongoing partnership with Excentus Corporation, a retail marketing coalition specializing in fuel-based reward programs. For every $50 in qualified purchases that customers make using their new CRC at Winn-Dixie, they will receive a five cents per gallon fuel savings redeemable at any one of more than 125 participating Shell stations. Additionally, fuelperks! Rewards are stackable — the more shoppers spend, the more they earn.

of 67 participating gas stations. Customers are kept informed of their
account on the bottom of their sales receipts, including “fuelperks!
Rewards” earned for this shopping trip, total “fuelperks! Rewards”
earned to date,â expiration dates of “fuelperks! Rewards” earned and the
