Creditcall, a payment gateway provider and EMV migration specialist, and Discover’s Diners Club announced a signed agreement to expand the acceptance of Discover and Diners Club cards worldwide.
Creditcall and Lans Holdings have combined technologies to deliver a best in class EMV technology, reducing the time to market, cost and complexity of EMV certification while providing choice in EMV chip card readers and access to major U.S. processors.
Creditcall EMV-ready payment gateway provider supplied its mPOS payment solution CardEase Mobile to U.S. burgers and fries chain Five Guys. The product, which comprises an mPOS SDK that allows developers to easily add payment functionality to an mPOS offer, is an integral part of a new restaurant queue busting solution for Five Guys in the UK which speeds up customer processing time and also allows for better customer interaction while they are waiting to be served. Staff in 19 Five Guys restaurants are now able to take customers’ orders and mobile payments in the queue via a tablet device that includes Creditcall’s mPOS payment solution CardEase Mobile integrated within Lineten’s NOQU queue busting app.
Creditcall appointed Doug Wallace Head of North America (Retail) to oversee the building of the U.S. division and Creditcall’s North America retail activity. He will also be involved in the development of banking relationships and the certification process in North America. Wallace brings to the roll more than 20 years of experience in retail POS payment systems and was most recently Vice President of Operations and Client Services North America at YESpay, where he was responsible for business development and partner relationships.

Parking BOXX announced today their partnership with CreditCall. Parking BOXX will use CreditCall’s EMV-ready payment gateway in the Parking BOXX gated, multi-space, pay-by-phone, cashier and citation parking systems. The systems will be installed across North America with sites already live. CreditCall’s industry-leading card payment solutions are available across multiple channels, including-Multi-Space, Pay-on-Foot, Smartphone and web-based parking in the UK, USA and Canada. The company processes credit and debit card payments securely from unattended parking machines, as well as from phone-based and online parking reservation systems.
CreditCall payment gateway and EMV Chip and PIN expert launched its mPOS Toolkit Partner Programme for app developers at Apps World London. The mPOS Toolkit – including the CardEase Mobile SDK (Software Development Kit) – provides app developers with the tools they need to incorporate EMV certified Mobile Point of Sale (mPOS) card acceptance within their iOS and Android business applications. Joining the CreditCall Partner Programme will provide developers a fast route to market with unique access to a revenue stream from on-going referral payments. CreditCall expands its US team with the appointment of Richard Roscher as EMV Business Development Director. Bringing with him extensive experience leading technology initiatives, new product implementations and business development within the electronic payments industry, Roscher has been involved in the payments space for over 15 years. He has worked for WorldPay and Chase Paymentech and consulted numerous major brands. His top initiative will be to lead CreditCall’s initiatives to support EMV migration in the US.
The CreditCall CEO will join payment industry CEOs to discuss mobile commerce and the market opportunities and challenges for mobile payment acceptance apps at Apps World North America. The mobile payments track includes two panels involving representatives from Verizon, MasterCard, Intuit and PayPal. CreditCall EMV software technology for global payments announced its EMV Level 1 (EMVL1.LIB) software library that reduces terminal development cycle time by as much as 18 months. The “EMVL1.LIB” puts EMV compliance on the fast track, giving developers the tools they need to create a reliable solution that cuts development time and reduces costs substantially. The “EMVL1.LIB” supports a growing number of smartcard interfaces, including 5V, 3V and 1.8V operations, and provides SPI interfaces, and serial port control as well as on board and off board clock support. CreditCall’s global technical support tert teams support the full integration of the new EMVL1.LIB within the customer’s software solution, which includes selection and integration of the smartcard interface in the customer’s electronic hardware.
