USA Technologies Demonstrates m-Interactive Coupon
USA Technologies wireless, cashless payment and M2M (machine-to-machine) telemetry solutions for small-ticket, self-serve retailing industries, will be demonstrating new mobile-based loyalty and couponing services at CTIA MobileCON 2012, October 9-11.The mobile application enables consumers to receive product and brand information, manage and redeem loyalty points for coupons and cash to use at participating unattended and traditional retail locations, search for participating retailers based on where the consumer is in real time, and verify that their favorite item is in stock at the machine in their area. Consumers can redeem coupons at unattended terminals using their NFC phones with digital wallet, credit card or debit cards, or a prepaid account.

VeriFone Posts 2Q/12 Revenue Up 64%
VeriFone Systems posted its revenue for the three months ended April 30, 2012 of $479 million, compared to $425 million in the previous quarter and $293 million for the comparable period of fiscal 2011 for a 64% year-over-year increase. GAAP net revenues were $472 million for the latest quarter, $420 million for the prior quarter, and $292 million for Q2 FY11. Non-GAAP net revenues excluding revenues from businesses acquired in the past 12 months increased 15% from the year-ago quarter. Hypercom-brand non-GAAP net revenues increased $8 million sequentially to $81 million in Q2 FY12. Meanwhile, net income per diluted share for Q2 FY12 was $0.64, compared to $0.58 in the prior quarter and $0.46 for Q2 FY11, a 39% year-over-year increase.
USA Technologies Showcasing Contactless Payment Service
USA Technologies is showcasing its turn-key “ePort Connect” service, a wireless, cashless and contactless telemetry and M2M solution for the small-ticket, self-service retail industry at the International CTIA WIRELESS Show on May 8-10.
