OBS Messenger Financial Center is a comprehensive business e-banking platform supporting real-time account and transaction reporting, e-statement delivery, stop payments, positive pay, account transfers and payment initiation of ACH transactions and wire transfers. In addition to the new remote deposit and bill pay services, the new partnership will enable integration of the ProfitStars offerings with the OBS Messenger Mobile Banking Tablet and Smart Phone applications to deliver mobile remote deposit and mobile bill payment services.

Wells Fargo now supports Macs for remote deposit capture through Panini scanners with iMac, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac mini, and Mac Pro computers. The CEO Desktop Deposit service, a proprietary Web-based remote deposit service which does not require a software download, is ideal for businesses that receive most of their payments by check, because it allows them to make deposits from any business location at any time, whether or not a physical bank location is close by. Enrollment and items deposited have soared by double-digit percentages each year since, and Wells Fargo ranks No. 1 in remote capture volume and locations for 2011.
Albron independent caterer is deploying biometric and contactless payments in its restaurants through its partnership with Equens. The Equens “Snel en Simpel Betalen” [Quick and Easy Payments] is designed to offer speed at the cash register and payment convenience for shorter waiting times and eliminates the inconvenience of topping up and checking your balance. Guests at client restaurants can now choose whether they wish to pay biometrically (using their finger) or contactlessly (using a Near Field Communication debit card).
Cardlytics transaction-driven marketing has signed a long-term global strategic alliance with Groupe Aeroplan loyalty management, whereby the partnership will generate an additional $33 million in capital to fund U.S. and International growth. The Cardlytics platform allows retailers to present consumers with relevant offers via trusted electronic banking channels including mobile, SMS, email and on-line banking. Cardlytics will reach 70% of all U.S. households in Q1 2012. By deploying technology within partner financial institutions, Cardlytics can leverage all of a household’s purchases to target and measure marketing in a way that full protects consumer privacy and financial institution data. All of this is done in a ‘pay for performance’ model thereby eliminating all risk for the merchant.
Fiserv financial services technology announced The State Bank has engaged Fiserv for its Revenue Expansion program to help it drive non-interest income, balance growth and enhance customer relationships. The State Bank in a proactive response to the current regulatory environment, engaged Fiserv for products and expertise to help it provide differentiated value for its current and prospective customers and to replace and grow revenue. Fiserv also provided Revenue Enhancement consulting for the retail and commercial operations of the bank, and has created an 18-month roadmap that aligned Revenue Expansion outcomes with the bank’s goals and objectives as well as the competitive market environment. Financial institutions may reward customers for their product relationships, balances, electronic statement delivery, mobile banking, bill payment, direct deposit, point of sale transactions and more. The reward may include bank-fulfilled benefits in addition to point rewards.
NCR will provide software, services and hardware, including two-sided printing, for multi-store concept in 180 VA Hospitals throughout the US and Puerto Rico with its POS. Scheduled for complete rollout to all locations by the end of this month, the solution includes approximately 1,100 NCR “RealPOS 70XRT” POS terminals; its “GenPOS” software; and NCR project management, software development, testing, integration, deployment, on-site training and technical support. The NCR solutions will be facilitate sales in retail shops, cafeterias, combination locations (retail and food), coffee shops, optical shops, and concessionaires.
