America FCU Deploys Cardlytics Marketing Platform

Cardlytics Transaction-Driven Marketing platform has been deployed by America First Credit Union for targeted member rewards. America First Credit Union implemented the platform through an ongoing partnership between Cardlytics and Fiserv. Selecting offers, account holders can activate or “accept” rewards before redeeming them at a number of national, local and online retailers. There are no coupons or promotion codes required and no member data ever leaves the credit union’s secure environment.Members can easily opt-out of the rewards offers, but activation rates prove broad consumer acceptance of Cardlytics’ programs.

Jack Henry Banking Moves Data Center

The Jack Henry & Associates Jack Henry Banking division announced it has moved all operations from its Lyndhurst, NJ item processing (IP) center to one of the company’s alternate processing facilities in Oklahoma City, OK. The Lyndhurst center was rendered inoperable due to widespread flooding caused by Hurricane Sandy. Over 100 of Jack Henry & Associates’ 1,300 core bank clients were impacted by the damaged IP center.

Pawtucket Credit Union Deploys Q2ebanking eBanking

Q2ebanking (Q2) electronic banking solutions for credit unions and banks announced Rhode Island-based Pawtucket Credit Union implemented its secure suite of electronic banking solutions to improve the level of service it provides retail and business members. Pawtucket Credit Union selected Q2ebanking for the breadth of its innovative features, solution flexibility and the security of its multichannel platform. Q2ebanking’s native, out-of-band multi-factor authentication (MFA) and transaction authorization provide perimeter and transaction level security that is only made stronger by Q2’s Risk and Fraud Analytics (RFA) solution, which alerts the credit union about potentially fraudulent behavior in real time. The credit union will also implement bill pay solutions from iPay Technologies, with Consumer Online Bill Pay Platform, with integrated person-to-person (P2P) payments, expedited payments and end user support, along with Biz 2.0, a leading small business payments product with a full suite of electronic transaction services that are essential to small businesses’ day-to-day operations.

Gemalto to Issue 15mm eHealth Cards

Gemalto digital security will issue 15 million second-generation eHealth cards to AOK (Allgemeine Ortskrankenkasse, German Health Insurance Fund) in 2012. Gemalto is responsible for the entire card production process for Germany’s largest health insurance company. With the secure authentication function of the operating system, users are further protected from fraud. Additional personal information can be stored on the card, including emergency data such as allergies or drug intolerance. When using the services and added-value applications offered, insurees benefit from the card certified by the BSI1 and Gematik2.

RSA and Todo1 form anti-fraud partnership

Symitar In-House Processing Outsources

Jack Henry & Associates payment processing services for the financial services industry, along with its Symitar division announced 16 existing in-house credit union clients have elected to move to its outsourced offering during the past 18 months. Symitar’s “Episys” core processing system installed in-house with credit unions are moving to Symitar “EASE,” the outsourced version of the industry-leading core system, at an accelerating rate. Only one credit union migrated to EASE in 2008 and seven have migrated during the past six months alone. More than 100 credit unions have now elected to outsource their transaction and information processing to Symitar.

Government E-Payment System to Facilitate Paperless Transaction

The Controller General of Accounts (CGA), Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance has developed a fully secured Government e-payment system for direct credit of dues from the Government of India into the account of beneficiaries using digitally signed electronic advice (e-advice) through the ‘Government e-Payment Gateway’ (GePG). The Government e-Payment Gateway (GePG) is a portal which enables the successful delivery of payment services from Pay & Accounts Offices (PAOs) for online payment into beneficiaries’ accounts in a seamless manner under a secured environment.
