e-Nabler and Handpoint have buddied to bring EMV enabled turnkey tablet and handheld-based POS solutions to merchants nationwide. The
companies say their new tablet-based POS systems are making the switch affordable and attractive for merchants of all sizes.

Its new device is able to process both Chip and magstripe transactions and also supports PIN. NagraID Security display cards passed MasterCardâs approval process, meeting required levels of durability, safety and compliance to ISO standards required for the commercial launch of banking cards and the introduction into MasterCardâs brand standards and rules. The Debit and Credit MasterCard Display Card looks and feels like a normal credit or debit card but comes with an additional small display and a button that enables card holders to use the same card for standard banking payment functionality and to generate second-factor one-time passwords (OTPs) for added authentication.
INSIDE Contactless open-standard contactless chip technologies is
opening a representative office in Bangkok to coordinate engineering
support for its production subcontractors throughout Asia. These new
facilities will play an important role as INSIDE prepares to increase
its production capacity to handle an anticipated demand of up to 500
million “MicroPass” contactless payment microprocessors annually.
Approved by EMVCo, the new subcontracted probing facility will test
EMV-certified “MicroPass” contactless payment microprocessors
manufactured in Singapore and destined for INSIDE’s customers around the
world. Production subcontractors in that region include a new secured
semiconductor probing facility in Bangkok operated by United Test and
Assembly Center (UTAC).
Rahaxi Processing Oy will be distributing Hypercom’s compact PCI-
approved, mobile credit/debit terminals across Finland. Specifically, this
development concerns Hypercom’s battery-operated “M4100 Blade”
designed especially for mobile transactions. The small, portable terminal
features a high-contrast color touch screen, a contactless reader, a
clip-on printer and accepts magnetic stripe and smart cards. The FreeStar
Technology Corporation provides financial products to merchants and
acquirers in over 20 countries.
To support its co-branded “enJoy Card”, Hang Seng Bank has deployed
Verifone Contactless Solutions. Co-branded with Jardine Matheson
retailers, the “enJoy Card” will be utilizing VISA’s “payWave” contactless
payment technology over VeriFone’s EMV-certified “QX110” contactless
reader for contactless payment solutions across a range of retail sectors.

NCR Corporation has completed the deployment of 220 ATMs and
implemented its “APTRA Advance NDC” Software for PKO Bank
Polski(PKO BP). Among models PKO BP has chosen to deploy is
the “bvR Personas M Series 86” ATM which allows for future upgrades.
Also with these ATMs are real-time alerts to NCR ATM technicians,
built in cameras and EMV-certified software solution for security. Other
security features include motorized card readers, standard Triple Data
Encryption Standard coding, combined with available remote distribution
of code keys and NCR’s Enhanced Card Drive. PKO BP has 1,200
branches, almost 2,300 agencies, and 2,100 ATMs throughout Poland.
