Typical application formats are mainly traditional branch formats. It allows bank staff to focus primarily on advising customers and selling products, but also to be available to assist their customers, where needed, with standard transactions on the CINEO C4090. A further advantage of the solution is that the wide range of services can continue to be offered outside opening hours.
PKO Bank Polski and EVO Payments International successfully completed EVO’s acquisition of a 66 percent interest in eService, PKO’s existing merchant acquiring business. In addition, the parties also entered into a 20 year strategic alliance under which the parties will continue to develop eService as a leading merchant acquirer in the region. The strategic alliance entered into between PKO Bank Polski and EVO will allow further development of eService’s business in Poland, as well as support the expansion of eService’s business into foreign markets, in particular Central and Eastern Europe.
Acculynk’s Payzur personal commerce (p-commerce) solution for debit cards announced Gesa Credit Union will pilot the P2P solution for its members, for which Crystal Clear Payments will serve as a channel partner. The Acculynk platform allows financial institution customers to send funds simply by authenticating the mobile- or web-initiated transaction with their bank issued PIN via the PaySecure patented online graphical PIN pad. Since Payzur is not ACH based, there is no enrollment or waiting period for consumers to begin using the service. Acculynk contracts with financial institutions directly and through channel partners to offer the Payzur p-commerce solution to their customers. For it, Crystal Clear Payments will provide payment processing solutions to the financial industry including credit signature processing; debit signature processing; PIN-based processing; Intelligent ATM services; cardholder loyalty programs; fraud moxie risk management, detection, and prevention; and card manufacturing programs.
Development Bank of Singapore (DBS) is implementing Wincor Nixdorf’s Cash Cycle Management Solutions concept in its newly designed flagship branch. Equipped with 22 CINEO systems from automated teller safes to cash recycling systems, the new branch is to serve as a blueprint for the bank’s branch network. Wincor Nixdorf has helped DBS develop its new branch concept, implementing a customized model for automating cash processes at the counters and in the self-service zone. Automated teller safes with recycling functionality take over the time-consuming task of counting and verifying banknotes, significantly reducing the time required by tellers to perform these tasks at the beginning and end of their shifts. Wincor Nixdorf also provides IT services for DBS, comprising first and second line maintenance.
Bluepoint Solutions announced that Mountain America Credit Union (MACU) has processed more than 100,000 mobile transactions on its “QwikDeposit ToGo” mobile RDC application in 2011. This equates to nearly $36.5 million in deposits. MACU has $3.2 billion in assets and serves more than 355,000 members through 69 locations in Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico.
Wincor Nixdorf is currently assuming responsibility for the remote monitoring of over 11,800 self-service systems at a total of 108 Sparkasse banks throughout Germany. The latest to join up are Taunus Sparkasse with 84 systems and Sparkasse am Niederrhein with 153 self-service systems. Services offered to the individual institutes range from a standalone remote service to self-service system operations management and are supplied by Wincor Nixdorf or its subsidiaries ProsystemsIT and Portavis. The service guarantees financial institutions transparency when it comes to problems and inquiries.

San Diego County Credit Union (SDCCU) announced same-day payments are now available through “Bill Payer Plus” online bill payment solution, powered by “CheckFree RXP” from Fiserv. Allowing members to select the same-day delivery option as part of the normal payment scheduling process, “Bill Payer Plus” makes bills available for same-day payment on credit card, utility, phone and other common household bills, with an available same-day delivery option as part of the normal payment scheduling process.
